A little about me
My name is Marlene, and I live in Stjær with my husband and our three children. I trained as a psychologist at Aarhus University, where I have also done research since 2012. My research has covered stress, sleep, crises, emotions and how to get the most out of going to therapy.
I have been a psychologist in private practice since 2019, working with people in difficult situations, including critically ill people and their families, as well as grief reactions, stress, anxiety and depression, relationship problems and family challenges. I offer therapy in both English and Danish.

Fascinating relationships
I have always been interested in people and relationships. That is why it is a real passion of mine to help people every day to look at their lives and navigate by their values. I have deep respect for the collaboration that grows in therapy, and I value the work it takes to get to know another person's complex life and world.
To keep up to date, I am always seeking the latest professional knowledge, and I am in ongoing supervision with other couples and family therapists, whom I also work with (see my partners below).
I hope you would like to share the journey with me, and I would encourage you to start by listening to my podcast ‘Hverdagspsykologen’ (in Danish) to get a glimpse into my world.
I hope to hear from you!
